Misfire is an American thrash metal band from Joliet, Illinois, formed in 2018 by drummer James Nicademus. Known for their raw, old-school thrash sound inspired by the Big Four and Pantera, the group released their debut album, Sympathy for the Ignorant, in 2021. Following significant lineup changes, including the addition of frontman Tim Jensen, guitarist Kostadin Kostadinov, and bassist Dan Stapinski, they released their more polished sophomore album, Product of the Environment, in 2024 through MNRK Heavy.
