Engerling

Engerling, a German blues-rock band, formed in East Berlin in 1975. Led by Wolfram Bodag, the group became an integral part of the GDR blues scene, known for its straightforward blues and boogie rock. Their authentic style, without elaborate shows, garnered an enthusiastic audience. Popular songs include "Mama Wilson" and "Blues vom Roten Hahn". They earned awards as "Hervorragendes Amateurtanzorchester der DDR" and collaborated with artists like Mitch Ryder. Albums include "Engerling Blues" and "Egoland".
