The orchestra overcame financial struggles in the 1970s and moved to the acclaimed Eugene McDermott Concert Hall. Known for high artistic standards, Andrew Litton led successful recordings and broadcasts, while Jaap van Zweden became music director in 2008.
Danny Elfman, Grammy and Emmy winner, released "Big Mess," his first solo in 30+ years. The album mixes dystopian sounds with orchestral touches and reflects themes of political unrest. Known for his innovative style.
