Common Kings, a band of Pacific Islanders from California, blend reggae and pop. Known for "Lost In Paradise," they were Grammy-nominated for Best Reggae Album. The band, including Samoan-born singer Jr. King and Hawaii-raised guitarist Mata Grey, has toured with Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars. They release music on their label Island Empire/Mensch House Records.

Jakobs Castle

Jakob Nowell, son of Sublime's Bradley Nowell, combines California's history with internet culture in Jakobs Castle. His innovative music style stays true to his father's melodic influence. He started in LAW and collaborates with producer Jon Joseph in this cutting-edge project.
