Camera Obscura

Camera Obscura, a Glasgow indie pop band formed in 1996 by Tracyanne Campbell, is key in the UK's twee pop scene. Known for hits like "Lloyd" and "French Navy," their music has drawn comparisons to Belle and Sebastian, with Stuart Murdoch producing their debut. Their albums have charted in both the UK and US, and they've recorded sessions for John Peel. They reunited with producer Jari Haapalainen for their acclaimed album "Look to the East, Look to the West" in 2024.
