Billy Bragg

Billy Bragg, from Barking, East London, is a celebrated folk singer-songwriter known for political engagement. Famous songs include "A New England." He has 11 solo albums and collaborated with Wilco on the Mermaid Avenue albums. Bragg, who has run Glastonbury's Left Field stage for 20 years, received the Ivors' Outstanding Contribution to British Music Award in 2018 and a plaque on the Camden Music Walk of Fame in 2023.
