Born in Berkeley, CA, John Fogerty is famed for Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) and solo hits. Known for merging rockabilly, country, and blues, he penned CCR classics like "Proud Mary" and "Fortunate Son." After a CCR split in 1972, his solo career thrived with the 1985 hit "The Old Man Down the Road."
