Renowned for his angelic tenor voice, he rose to fame as half of the folk-rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, known for hits like "The Sound of Silence" and "Bridge over Troubled Water". His solo career includes popular songs such as "All I Know" and "I Only Have Eyes for You". He has earned eight Grammy Awards and is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.
