Arianna Del Giaccio, known professionally as Ariete, is an Italian singer-songwriter recognized for her contributions to indie pop and bedroom pop. Born in Anzio near Rome in 2002, she initially gained attention through her participation in the 2019 edition of X Factor Italia. She rose to prominence independently via self-released EPs such as Spazio and 18 anni, followed by her breakthrough studio albums Specchio (2022) and La notte (2023). Her music is characterized by introspective, relatable lyrics addressing youth, relationships, and emotional vulnerability, which has garnered a large, young audience and led to a performance at the Sanremo Music Festival in 2023.
