Anaal Nathrakh and Samael

Anaal Nathrakh, formed in 1999, is a pioneering extreme metal band known for its intense sound. Collaborators include Attila Csihar and Shane Embury. They've headlined the Inferno Festival and appeared on BBC Radio 1, solidifying their influence in the genre.

Swiss extreme metal group Samael, formed in the late '80s by brothers Vorphalack and Xytras, fused black metal with industrial, electronic, and gothic sounds. Known for albums like "Ceremony of Opposites" and "Passage," they've collaborated with producer Waldemar Sorychta and toured extensively, including their first American shows. Despite shifts toward electronic music, they returned to their black metal roots with releases like "Above."
