Joseph Arthur, born in Akron, Ohio, is an acclaimed indie rock singer/songwriter. Noted for his literate lyrics and visual artwork, he caught the eye of Peter Gabriel who signed him to Real World Records. He's collaborated with Michael Stipe, Ben Harper, and formed Fistful of Mercy with Dhani Harrison. Arthur's work spans albums like "The Ballad of Boogie Christ" and "Lou." He started his own label, Lonely Astronaut, and was Grammy-nominated for Best Recording Package. Known for innovation, he self-released albums, and his duo Arthur Buck with Peter Buck debuted in 2018.
