Swiss extreme metal group Samael, formed in the late '80s by brothers Vorphalack and Xytras, fused black metal with industrial, electronic, and gothic sounds. Known for albums like "Ceremony of Opposites" and "Passage," they've collaborated with producer Waldemar Sorychta and toured extensively, including their first American shows. Despite shifts toward electronic music, they returned to their black metal roots with releases like "Above."
Saxon, formed in Barnsley in 1975, are leaders of the NWOBHM movement with hits like "Wheels of Steel." They've sold over 23 million records worldwide.
Hellripper, a one-man Scottish black/speed metal band, blends influences from Venom and Metallica, gaining acclaim with albums like "Coagulating Darkness." Signed to Peaceville Records, their "The Affair of the Poisons" reached the US Billboard Chart. Known for energetic live shows and historical Scottish themes in music.
