Nacida en el Sunset Strip, Armored Saint fusiona un metal sin adornos con un estilo NWOBHM. Conocidos por álbumes de los 80 como "March of the Saint", se reagruparon en el '99 después de una pausa y lanzaron "Punching the Sky" en 2020. Influenciados por bandas como Iron Maiden y Judas Priest, han continuado siendo pilares del thrash y hard rock a pesar de contratiempos, incluyendo la pérdida del guitarrista David Prichard.
