Q Steven Marsden, known mononymously as Q, is an American alternative R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer from Broward County, Florida. The son of renowned Jamaican reggae producer Steven "Lenky" Marsden, Q began releasing music independently with his 2018 acoustic mixtape Thoughts and broke through with his 2019 self-produced mixtape Forest Green. Signed to Columbia Records, his subsequent releases include the 2021 EP The Shave Experiment and the 2023 album Soul, PRESENT, which are noted for his signature falsetto vocals, introspective lyrics, and 1970s soul and R&B influences.
