Philly rapper Peedi Crakk, known for his high nasal tone and stop-and-go flow, rose to fame via Roc-a-Fella collaborations with Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel, and Freeway. His single "One for Peedi Crakk" charted in the R&B/hip-hop Top 40 in 2002. Signed by Jay-Z to Def Jam, he later joined the Roots for touring and albums. Peedi left Def Jam in 2008, releasing "Camel Face Hunting Season" with Amalgam Digital.
