Machiavel, formed in Belgium in the mid-'70s, is known for their progressive rock sound. Key members included Marc Ysaye, Roland Degreef, and Mario Guccio. Iconic albums are Jester (1977) and Mechanical Moonbeams (1978). Despite lineup changes and a temporary breakup, their music matured over time. The live album Valentine Days featured a reunited band in 1983. They continued releasing new works and compilations, celebrating their legacy with a live tour and albums like Virtual Sun (1999).
