Lifer, originally Strangers with Candy, formed in 1999. Winning MTV's Ultimate Cover Band Contest in 2000 led to signing with Republic/Universal. Alex Lifeson produced their debut. Hits include "Boring" and "Parade." Members joined Breaking Benjamin and Cold. Reunited in 2018.
