Born in Los Angeles, California, Jerry Joseph formed The Jackmormons in Salt Lake City in 1996. Their sound blends rock, country, and Americana with jam band influences. Known for "Climb To Safety" and intense live shows, Joseph is a prolific songwriter. He was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2015. Their album "Panther Tracks Vol. 1" includes studio versions of live favorites. Collaborations include members of Widespread Panic.
