Finland's Beherit, formed in 1989 by vocalist/guitarist Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance, is known for its raw, hell-obsessed black metal and cult following. Debut "The Oath of Black Blood" (1991) paved the way for Finnish black metal. Their later work, like "Electric Doom Synthesis," shifted to darkwave. Celebrated for influential yet chilling music.
