OVO Hydro Concerts 2026

Absolutely brilliant show. Didn't manage to get many photos as the ushers / attendants told us to pit the phone away, even though the act's opening words were 'please take photos and post on social media... just don't use any flash photography' so somebody at tye Hydro didn't get the message! However the act itself was incredible. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The time flew in. Would go hack and see them again if they ever put on another show.

Good, clean concert facility. Bar (I suppose as I had expected) was ridiculously expensive and the soft drinks were overly watered down bag-in-box style drinks. Cheap to buy in but they charge £4/drink! Wine and beer expensive too and not great. Music and lighting were good, and the acoustics very good. Lots of staff on hand and all very attentive.

What an amazing venue! The queue to get in was long but free flowing, the staff were superb, the seats (when we were actually sitting in them rather than dancing) were comfortable. The range of food and drink available was good and the prices were, I guess, fair. The only thing I didn't like was the seating numbers were confusing and once we actually found our seats, we had to climb up and then back down to get to and from the seats, so having selected 2nd row balcony seats to avoid too many steps, this was a mistake, but I know now 🤣🤣 and this in no way detracted from our visit. As this review is about the venue, I'm not going to rave about the performance we saw, but needless to say, the performance was not dulled in any way by the venue 😁 We will be back!!

The OVO Hydro is a great entertainment venue to see different acts. The majority of staff during my visit were lovely, but some gave conflicting information when it came to finding our seats. My only real gripe is that the toilets changed over during my visit - female toilets became male toilets, and male toilets became female toilets. I was stopped from going into the then "female" toilets as they were "changing over". This meant I entered the toilets with males still present, and they looked at me like I was in the wrong place. This made me feel uneasy. All in all it was a good visit and a great gig. 🎶

Great venue for shows. The food and drink is expensive, but most venues are the same now. Staff are always friendly and happy to help.
