Nicko McBrain, born June 5, 1952, in Hackney, London, is the iconic heavy metal drummer for Iron Maiden. Renowned for his powerful, precise, and flamboyant style, he joined the band in 1982, contributing to numerous platinum-selling albums. McBrain is a Modern Drummer Hall of Fame inductee and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Iron Maiden in 2026. He previously played with Streetwalkers, Pat Travers, and Trust.
